Making History
On September 27th 2019, hundreds gathered at the Monsey Cemetery to bury ashes from the Chelmno Death camp, which were discovered months earlier in the archive of a Holocaust Museum in New York. A memorial was erected in the cemetery to honor those who perished and lay them to rest.
The Chelmno Memorial is part of Yesodeinu’s guided tour.
