Who are our tours for?

Give your students a meaningful experience they’ll never forget. Our tours are geared to high school age students, bringing the lessons they’ve learned about the Holocaust to life. The tours are interactive, experiential and unforgettable.

Students will come away with:
A deeper appreciation of the impact a person can make on this world.
A lifelong appreciation for the spiritual and physical heroism of survivors.
Stories and facts they’ve never heard before.
Insightful customs relevant to cemeteries.

In all of us there is a hunger to learn more about our heritage—to know who we are and where we come from.

If you have family members who perished in the Holocaust, or you have an interest in Jewish history, our tour is an ideal opportunity for you to learn more about the people who are buried in the Monsey cemetery. Hear about their deep commitment to begin life anew, despite their horrific experiences during the Holocaust.

The Holocaust started in Europe, but it didn’t end there.

Many survivors relocated to America, bringing their painful past with them.

Who were they? How did they live? And how did they die?

You’ve grown up with the Holocaust in your blood and heard harrowing accounts from your grandparents and relatives. It shapes your thinking in the most subtle ways.

Gain a deeper understanding of the lives they lived, the challenges they faced and the choices they made – because there’s no guarantee that it won’t happen again.

We owe it to those who survived – and those who didn’t. Whether you’re looking to add meaning to the 9 days/3 weeks, or want to learn more at special Holocaust commemoration dates, you will walk away inspired to live life differently.
